Argentina’s economy is one of the most successful economies in Latin America. Even though Argentina has one of the most successful economies in Latin America , it has had some economic crises recently. The most recent was from 2018 to 2020 and was one of the worst they have experienced. By 2020 the percentage of the population that was under the poverty line went from 26 percent in 2017 to 42 percent. The country mostly trades with Brazil, China, and the United States. Major industries are agriculture, tourism, steel, and vehicles. Three major exports are wheat, soybeans, and wheat. Wheat is the cash crop that takes up the most land space in Argentina. Three of Argentina’s major imports are petroleum, cars, and electrical equipment. The GDP per capita is 14,187.48. Most of the agriculture happens in the Pampas because the land is great for raising cattle which is a food that is eaten a lot by Argentineans. The Pampas are the best agricultural land in all of South America. Argentina benefits from an abundance of lots of electronic resources. Argentina’s economy is very successful and is able to rely on their own natural resources for lots of different things.
